Leslie Boylan, PhD, APRN, CRRN, FAAN, FARN is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in family practice, internal medicine, urgent care and college student health settings. She worked in academic settings for twenty years while maintaining a clinical practice. While in academe, using the name Leslie Neal-Boylan, she assumed several leadership roles, such as graduate program director, associate dean and dean. Dr. Neal-Boylan’s primary area of scholarship is the nurse workforce, particularly nurses with disabilities. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and ten books. Three of her books have received American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year awards. Among other publications, she has published case study books in family practice, home health, and geriatrics. She has contributed widely to the literature on topics ranging from the nurse workforce to disability, rheumatology, home health, rehabilitation and leadership. Dr. Neal-Boylan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, a Fellow of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, and a Fellow of the AACN-Wharton program. She is associate editor for the Journal for Nurse Practitioners and an editorial board member and manuscript reviewer for a variety of peer reviewed journals. Nurse Practitioner Boylan loves taking care of patients and getting to know them. She is thrilled and honored to work at the Mansfield Kaseman Health Clinic.
