Teresita Castro serves as Front Desk Manager of the Kaseman Clinic and is responsible for the management of patient flow from check-in to check-out, scheduling of patients, customer service and keeping the clinic calendar. Teresita supervises the Front Desk Workers and volunteers.
Teresita joined the Clinic staff in 2009 after working in CMR’s Language Outreach Program for ten years. Teresita is bilingual in English and Spanish and with the support of her front desk team, provides guidance on the clinic eligibility and welcomes all our patients and visitors. For several years, Teresita served as Health Education Manager and prior to that as a Health Promoter herself. As the clinic grew, she was removed from those responsibilities and now assists the Executive Director as one of the Super Users in the Electronic Medical Record system including reports, provider schedules, patient schedules, and patient’s enrollment. She also assists the Executive Director with a variety of administrative duties related to clinic operations.
